ELIGIBILTY -
This Program is intended for graduate and upper level undergraduate students who meet all academic requirements of the Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Program size is limited and participation is contingent on acceptance by the Program Director.
CREDITS AND COURSES-
Participants who successfully complete the program will receive six credit hours of course credit at Georgia State University. Graduate students should register for IB 8410 and undergraduate students should register for IB 4410. Students from other schools should follow their institution's regulations concerning transfer credits.
APPLICATIONS-
Applications are due by March 14 th, 2011. Applications without deposits
cannot be held. The $200 deposit must accompany
the application.
This non-refundable deposit is applied towards the total program cost.
Application - Beginning in 2011, GSU will be implementing a new on-line application system for study abroad applicants called StudioAbroad. The system will go live on December 1. For students who wish to apply earlier, please send the program director (Wade Danis wdanis@gsu.edu) a brief email indicating your intent to apply for the course. The email should indicate the following information:
Full Name (as it appears on your passport)
Address
Date of Birth
Citizenship
Gender
Passport Number and location where issued
Phone Number
Preferred email address
Current class standing (Junior/Senior/Graduate/Other)
This will place you on the course roster. When the online application process opnes on December 1st, students on that roster will be guranteed a spot in the course so long as they complete the application process in a timely manner and meet the eligibility requirements listed on the course website.
Final payment due by March 25th.
COST-
The 2011 price for the trip will be $3,500
(this is inclusive of the $200 deposit and is non-refundable)
Airfare is NOT included in this price.
Any students who wish to travel as a group with the instructors may coordinate travel arrangements with the program director, Wade Danis. Airfare is estimated at $1500.
Final payment is due March 25th and should be paid through your Student Accounts at GoSolar. You will see the Study Abroad program fees as a separate charge next to your tuition and will pay them together.
Participants who wish to tour Europe on their own after the program ends (at their own expense) should talk with the program director when they apply.
